I've purchased a new light tube for my boyu lighting fixture. The tube is same brand as the first tube it came with the boyu fixture. GB. Bought from a lfs, and its pink in colour. Do they have white colour type? The box nvr specify. Can it be easily found outside electrical shop coz its 17inches long and 15W?

Willie... you're here liao ah... hehehe
anyway, just ask for a different Kelvin temp light tube. The lower the K level, the more orangy it looks... the higher, the more blueish...
Something of 8000 - 9000K is the best to replicate cool white colours. About 6500K is about daylight (which is more orange) and I also am using a blue tube which is rated at 17000K.

yeah here since ysterday :wavey:
Welcome welcome :D
When changing the tubes , you also got to watch for the tube lengths...i have found that not all supposedly 48 inch tubes fit 4ft light housings...not too sure about shorter lengths though
