eheim canister filter help needed

It seems that my canister alot of air inside and everytime alot of bubbles came out in the water. How to get rid of the air inside the canister? Got other solutions other than dismantling out the whole thing? FYI i got surface skimmer. Could it be the air entered the canister through the top of the surface skimmer? What i did was to submerge the top of the surface skimmer in the water to prevent air from entering and immediately alot of bubbles came out. Maybe this can push all the air out....but then i slowly allow the thing to float on the water and the bubbles still come out but not as frequent

Probably due to the surface skimmer.
Air enters the inlet.

Might result in air lock in the canister.

how to resolve air lock in the canister?

Must first find out the reason e air gets into the inlet first

I realised also that if my spray bar cause too much turbulence on the surface (even when it is 1 cm submerged), I get that problem in my eheim of air collecting.

Yes thats cos too much little bubbles of air floating around the tank

Try to locate the rainbar position on the opposite side of the tank from the inlet
