If i wanna control the water flow, do i adjust the on/off valve only on the "OUT" or "IN" or both on the canister?

If i push the valves for both "IN" and "OUT" to "off" while the canister is still connected to the electricity socket, will it be alright?
Coz when pushed to off, can hear the canister is still running but no water being take in and out of the canister coz already off.

How come sometimes alot of tiny bubbles being produced from the output rainbar(rainbar in water)? How do i solve it? The bubbles produced is it related to the surface skimmer? Coz the surface skimmer more or less absorb some air from the surroundings when the water flow into it.

I have emailed Eheim on this b4 , they do not recommend you lower flow rate this way as over time , would cause deterioration of your canister motor.

But turning down the OUT part should be sufficient.

i see. I yesterday push the "IN" to full max while the "OUT" to the level i want. What about pushing both "IN" and "OUT" to off while still connected to electricity and the canister is running?

Push both to OFF for what ? It will spoil your filter motor.

All my Eheims on full blast, I hate to reduce flowrate for my Eheims, reduce liao like waste money. Bubbles caused by trapped air.

To reduce the risk of damaging my canisters by adjusting the taps and levels, I try to redirect the outflow from the rainbars.;)

Try not to let the air go into your inlet, over time its not good for your motor because air kept trapped inside. Till the canister abit to expel the air but you need to fix the root of the problem, the inlet is sucking in air.
