For me i dun think i will go for that. Firstly 2 ft tank is a bit small already and if there is an internal overflow, there is not enough space for your fish. Secondly maintainence for the overflow system will affect the whole tank and it will easily dirty the water. Lastly it is unsightly.

If u have the budget go for an external filter. At tpya 2 ft tank costs bout $17 so y pay so many times more for the ios? This is just my 2 cent. :)

thanks cloud for the comments. i found a great shop in amk ave 10, never knew it was there till a friend brought me there. he got so made custom made tank. from 2ft to 6ft with and without IOS. got one that he calls a hdb flat tank for fish. one big tank with 3-4 compartment with the water flowing from main tank into ios throught the compartment to another ios then back into main tank. looks cool. if i remember right, a 3ft tank with submersiable powerhead, lights and filter media comes with 2 ios and 4 compartment is about $160 without stand. stand at $78. with delivery too. There are ones with compartments in the main tank (36x18x18)
or compartment above the main tank (36x18x24) well u got to go see it for yourself. in fact he using there self made tanks to display his fishes he is selling, so u can see how it works. the water is very clean i notice. anyway just thought u guys might what to know. if interested, i get the address when i go there tommorrow. regards

Hi Taz, thanx but I think I still need the UGF and airpump and the coral sand. Actually I am also not sure if I want to sell anymore, because I have some plans coming up, will post for sale once finalised.
