recently weather quite cooling so can achieve 26-28 ... the past heat wave however caused the temp to soar to 28-30

Fan 2x80mm for the 2ft and 3ft and 4x80mm for the 4ft. The 2ft and 3ft is in my room when on air-con temp goes down to about 25.

Guys, suggest when you log in the temperature, tell us if got fans (how many) or not, or aircon room, etc. ;)
Me, have not switched off the fans on my cory tanks since the last heatwave. No eyes to keep track of electrical (& water) bills anymore.
4ft - 2 fans (used to be 4, but switched recently) - abt 28deg
3ft - 2 fans - abt 27/28deg
2ft - 2 fans - abt 25/27deg
2ft - 1 fan only comes on with lights - 27/28deg
If without fans, I'd estimate low of 28 and high of 30, unless heatwaves come back... :(

actually 2 fans for up to 4ft will be more than sufficient ... adding more only increase evaporation and will not lower temp much ... to lower even more, only a chiller will help

Er... my 4ft went down to 26deg with 4fans, now with 2fans I've seen only 28deg... :)

Wah good for you loh fav ... usually more fans will not help much ... except super increased evaporation!! :)
