:( I swopped the provided intake strainer of my powerhead with an TOM gravel cleaner stirer, which is transparent black instead of the white strainer that comes with the powerhead, just now when checking the overhead wetdry filter discovered theres no water flow, and then I discovered a fish had swimmed into the stirer and got stuck there, probably by the strong suction she can't get out. Its a 950 gallon per hour powerhead afterall, the 60liters per hour one that I bought recently.

Shes one of my best Red Fin Kadango female, 4 inches.

The gravel stirer I used to replace the original strainer that caused this.

It was my fault, I never thought of that, only though the stirer allows bigger pieces of shit to get clear and being transparent black its invisible in my tank.

Ohh that is sad, really a painful lesson to learn but take it as an experience. It is really bold of u to share with others so that other will not foloow this path. The powerhead is too strong but in any cases, you should not be that as fishes can be trapped inside. Even no fishes been trapped inside, too big of a debris may get stuck in the powerhead and this may malfunction to it. Use back the original inlet to prevent any more losses. U can actually connect the outlet of your eheim filter to the overhead filter, just my suggestion. :)

Leafhorn , sorry for ur loss. However as 4 the stirer, u could still use it but may need 2 modify it a bit by cutting the 'skirt' of the stirer 2 be shorter than the fishes that u have in the tank. From the pics u provided, the spaces from each 'skirt' is just nice 4 ur fish 2 get in. I can give 2 recommendation rite now. Either cut the skirt shorter or cut all the skirt n drill a few big hole, the size of a 5cents coin or smaller at the remaining portion of the stirer. I am guessing that the stirer is placed on the gravel itself rite? Hope this helps!

Thanx, but I used back the provided strainer.
