i huv a 5ft tank, wat kind of lighting should i use??? Marine fishes.. Should i use flouresent or noen bulbs???

hi hi, you plant to keep just fishes only? do you want to keep corals?

if marine fishes only, the lightning is not that important, just get some white light and some common blue lights. as for to use FL or PL, it depends how bright you want you fishes to look. blue light combine with white light is recommend because it will make the tank looks blue and nice. otherwise it will look kind of yellow/brown you see. if you want to see the difference, my setup now can show you because i have installed left side with blue/white light and right side with 10,000k lights, there is quite a difference.

if you keep corals, actinic 03 lights is high recommanded as the corals will glow!!!

tell me more about your setup for me to help you. what kind of tank you have, what kind of light you have now, how big is your tank, what you keeping.
