Hi folks, glad to found this forum. Sorry to trouble u guys wif my first postin, but could anybody help to identify my fish, supposed to be a malawi, but not too sure exactly the type. :scratch:

I'm guessing it belongs to e Aulonocara species.

Your guess could be correct. Could be a protomelas genus too but i can be wrong! Got several species in mind but maybe u can take a look at the profile. At the same time, can post more pics of it for us to see! :)

Could be a Copadichromis trimaculatus. Not suret though, do you have another shot from a different angle ?

Thanx guys for helpin, will try to post a few more pics provided he's corperative enough. Prob is he's kind camera shy, hahaha. :-p Trying to find wat's the best to feed him, currently giving small fishes & algae shrimps.

agree with cloud...should be a protomelas

the 4th and 5th pics is OB peacock....cross-bred fish
